This book rocks! Lou has been there and done that when it comes to video and video marketing. He knows his stuff and will help you learn what you need to know to become successful presenting your products/service via video. Best of all, Lou is available through multiple “how-to” videos, classes, and support groups. BTW: Two years ago I joined one of Lou’s coaching programs and with his assistance, learned to relax, love the camera, and get over myself and my deer-in-the-headlights challenges. I’m grateful for Lou’s assistance as I adapted my teaching techniques from teleconferences to video in coaching writers, up close and personal on camera, as they navigate the publishing maze to become authors. Thanks Lou! Buy this book. Read it. Then get yourself out there to become a video presence in your field. Everybody has to start someplace. This book is that place!

A Book on Video From a TV Guy

Wow! A book written about video marketing that’s written by a guy who came from the television industry. How strange, right? Think about it. There’s finally a book about a topic by someone who has the background needed to write the book-before it became “a thing.” In this book about how to use video to your advantage, the author shares easy-to-use tips and techniques that will help anyone interested in leveraging the power of the internet via video. In the chapter titled, “How to get started with video,” the author suggests that “You know your why before you fly.” In other words, prepare the right way before you shoot your videos. Don’t just do it on the fly, because it will show. I recommend this book for anyone who’s thinking about adding video to their marketing mix. It does the job-and more.

Lou Bortone know his stuff when it comes to video marketing strategy. I falsely assumed that I already knew enough to be successful. After reading Lou’s book I realized how many more ways I could be tapping into video to generate even more millions in online coaching/consulting revenue.

It’s a good book with a lot of insightful knowledge regarding creating videos . Anyone interested in learning more about making vidreos definitely wil find this book to be very useful . However I felt the second part of the book is pretty much just repetitions on things that have been mentioned and explained on the first part. Really useful book nonetheless.
