I can tell you after reading John’s book, Mobilize Your Customers, I have more in my arsenal to take to my clients and create an even better social media strategy for them. With what you’re privy to in this book you’ll be hard pressed to find without having to spend hours upon endless hours researching. John has put it into an excellent, easy to read format whereby anyone ‘gets it’! This is such a new facet of marketing and advertising that most business owners are scared and even repelled by the mobile media, social media and earned media aspects of marketing. John makes it readily available in ‘bite sized’ morsels by creating an exceptional conduit with which to learn.

This book couldn’t have come at a more perfect time for my business. I had spent money on services like fiverr trying to find a social media strategy which was custom-developed for my unique business but came across this book in a desperate search for some REAL ideas. Mobilize Your Customers was the gameplan I was seeking – and it wasn’t even custom-made for me. Full of great ideas, well organized, and current, MYC takes the frustration out of social media and demonstrates how to generate real results. Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and the like may still be too far away from my (proverbial) cash register, but I’m looking forward to putting these ideas to work for my business and generating a hell of a lot more traffic around it.

This book will open up your mind to many new marketing ideas that cost little or no money other than your time. The information gives just enough to plant the seeds in your mind, but it does not go step by step to encourage the beginner. Still, you’ll come away with at at least a few ideas to help promote your business.

I learned a lot from reading this book. The author really opened my eyes to the term “Social Media”. Before reading this book, I summed up the term as pertaining to Facebook and Twitter. But now social media means much more to me. There are so many affordable, if not free, avenues to advertise and market my business right in front of my nose. I would recommend this to anyone looking to grow their business and do it quickly and without breaking the bank.

This is a must read!
