I own a small marketing company. Mostly we focus on building landing pages, SEO and run some advertising campaigns for our clients. I’ve wanted to sell text marketing for a couple of years because I think it’s the future for most businesses, but have struggled to make sales and get clients. This book will help me correct my mistakes and gave me two specific ideas that I believe will help me generate sales and revenue. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is I feel like it should have given more examples of successful campaigns. It is well worth the price.

I have just finished Mobile Marketing Strategies by Charles Brocato & Jay Fairbrother. How to Books are not Bible’s! The value is very often in the take away’s. Sometimes these takeaway’s are subtle seemingly small distinctions. In my case one small distinction was able to swing big doors! The difference is a change of one word in my unique selling proposition. One word. This word is one that I had changed twice and was still not happy with. Once I saw the context of what I was achieving with the old wording, I stopped my reading and went online and changed the wording in both of my company websites. Powerful.

I’ve read a few other books on Moble Marketing, and this is my favorite so far. The advice here is genuine and based on real-world experience, not just someone who has read all the research and spins it into a book. While they cover the basics, and clearly articulate just how bigh the opportunity is, they also go beyond that and give you gread advice on how to position yourself properly in the marketplace. I never even thought about that stuff before! I would redomend this book to anyone who is looking into selling any Mobile services, and for those are already selling Mobile but struggling to get clients.
