Must read for a local marketer

I read this book cover to cover. It was GREAT! Easy to understand, direct instructions on how to succeed as a Mobile Marketer. I truly believe that the local business needs good marketers on their side and that mobile marketing is what they need to make a difference in their business. This book, from start to finish, is packed with real world experience and tells it like it is. There are a LOT of tools out there and it can be overwhelming. This book took me through it step by step. When I finished I felt like I could have an educated conversation with a customer about everything I can offer and how each aspect of mobile marketing could best be applied to their individual needs! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a mobile marketer or even considering getting into mobile marketing. This should be your textbook!

If you own or know of an owner of a Mom and Pop business, this book has the answers to increasing the bottom line with mobile marketing. If you are a consultant to small local businesses, the information can help you increase your client’s potential with the implementation of numerous tips given in this book. I found this book to be an easy and quick read with golden nuggets sprinkled throughout the chapters that could be cashed in for anyone that puts forth the effort to do what Brian Anderson suggests. I have already incorporated a strategy from this book in my business and I just read the book yesterday. The section of the book that caused me to implement this new strategy was the Adwords sections by Jack Hopmann. I can tell that Jack really knows Adwords and so today I changed my landing page site to reflect something he mentioned in this book. Thanks Jack and all of the other contributors to this book! I plan to implement more strategies as time allows.

I have read the book from the perspective of a small business owner. I was curious to know what mobile marketing could mean for my restaurant business. I have no clue about marketing nor do I have any computer skills, but this book is very well written, very detailed and simple to understand.
