This a great resource for anyone interested in Mobile Marketing. It covers the history of cellular and projects what the future holds. Learn the difference among 1G-3G GPS and now 4G phones. Also the different platforms and the customer profiles of who is more likely to use which phone and which carriers for their service. Also tells you about SMS and MMS messaging for marketing.

There are three people in the world who truly know marketing and optimisation for mobile, two of them owe everything to the third person which is the author of this book Cindy Krum.

Very good job exploring the different mobile marketing channels. Would like more diagrams on how each works so I can visualize it better. A lot of spelling errors. Need a new proofreader. Very helpful all in all.

Put simply, mobile marketing is going to be the biggest growth area for online ads for the foreseeable future, potentially eclipsing the desktop advertising space. The biggest difficulty in getting into this space for many marketers has been the lack of any quick “101”-style guide to cover all the essentials, and I think Cindy Krum has managed to provide this here.

The author, Cindy Krum, believes that mobile marketing is the marketing of the future, and I believe she is right on the money. The problem is that there are so many players in the mobile industry that a simple marketing strategy isn’t as straight forward as one might think.
